Today marks the second anniversary of the Creeslough explosion.
A prayer service will take place this evening at St. Michael's Church in the village to remember the 10 people who died and the many who were injured.
Robert Garwe and his five-year-old daughter Shauna Flanagan Garwe, Catherine O'Donnell and her 13-year-old son James Monaghan; James O'Flaherty, Jessica Gallagher, Martin McGill, Hugh Kelly, Martina Martin, and 14-year-old Leona Harper all lost their lives on October 7th 2022.
The families of the victims have sought a public inquiry into the incident.
Solicitors representing families of seven of the victims have written to Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee, asking for an independent investigation to be set up.
It is not yet known what caused the explosion at a petrol station in the village, however it is understood that a gas leak may have led to the incident.
Two men who were arrested in March, in connection with the fatal explosion but were subsequently released while a man and a woman arrested in May were also released without charge.
