A section of the N56 in county Donegal has reopened following a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Monday evening.
The incident, involving a van and two cars, took place on the Bruckless road just outside Dunkineely at around 5.40pm.
Two people received medical treatment following the incident and were taken to hospital for further treatment of their injuries.
The driver of one of the cars, a woman in her 70s was transferred to Sligo University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
While the driver of the van, a man in his 30s was transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment for injuries, believed to be non-life-threatening.
Investigations into the collision are ongoing.
