Severe oil spill on section of N59

Motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution on a section of the N59 from Sligo to Ballina.

There are reports of a severe oil spill and debris on the road at Stonehall, just outside Ballisodare.

Traffic is down to one lane and Gardaí have been notified.
