Significant damage has been caused by Storm Ciara around Strandhill.
A surge in wind and rain caused flooding around the area extending far inland.
The water brought with it debris and was strong enough to rip up some of the paving stones.
Speaking to OceanFM, Fine Gael Sligo Councillor, Sinead Maguire says she has reported the damage to Sligo County Council and will be aiming to get repair works carried out as soon as possible.
