Significant price increase for meals on wheels

Those availing of the ‘meals on wheels’ service which is being provided our Lady’s Hospital in Manorhamilton will be paying more for the service from December 9^th.

Users of the service have received notification that the cost of a meal will increased from 3.50 euro to 8 euro.

Local Councillor Sean McDermott has raised concerns in relation to the price increase.

Although this is the first price increase since the service was introduced a number of years ago the Fine Gael Councillor has questioned the timing of the increase.
