Sinn Fein Cllrs Noel Jordan & Michael McMahon to contest local elections in Donegal MD

Sitting Sinn Fein Cllrs Noel Jordan and Michael McMahon have been selected to contest the local elections in the south Donegal constituency.

The pair were formally ratified at their party's convention last night.

There's ongoing speculation that Sinn Fein may yet decide to run a third candidate in the Donegal Municipal District - it's understood that this will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
