Sinn Féin shake up: Kenny's brief changes in reshuffle

Sligo Leitrim Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny's job title has changed within the party as part of a reshuffle.

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has announced a wide-ranging frontbench change-up.

She's said it's time for a general election and this is the team which will lead the party into it.

Deputy Kenny takes up the Communications and Transport brief while the role of Justice Spokesperson changes hands to Pa Daly.

The big hitters of the front bench stay where they are - with Pearse Doherty, Eoin O'Broin, David Cullinane and Louise O'Reilly keeping Finance, Housing, Health and Enterprise.

While Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn's role of Chief Whip and Fisheries and the Marine within the party also remains the same.
