Sinn Fein TD calls for PPE policies in health centres to change

A Sinn Fein TD says the policy on using Personal Protective Equipment in the nations hospitals and care homes needs to change.

Sligo/Leitrim Deputy, Martin Kenny, says he has been contacted by health workers who have told him they are restricted on when they can use the equipment.

It's claimed that they have been told to only use PPE when treating a confirmed case of Covid-19.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Deputy Kenny says the policy is creating 'fear and tension.'
