Sinn Féin's Thomas Healy is the first Councillor to be elected in Sligo after exceeding the quota in the fourth count for the Sligo-Drumcliffe electoral area.
Healy's total in Count 4 was 1,610 which put over the quota of 1,511.
His surplus of 99 is now being distributed.
