A Sligo Leitrim TD has described the situation at Sligo University Hospital as nothing short of scandalous.
The comments come following claims that the hospital is frequently over 110% capacity.

The issue is said to be resulting in staff regularly treating patients without a bed at times.
Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny has called for an urgent meeting with the Health Minister and senior frontline staff regarding the current situation.
