Six candidates have been nominated to contest the Fianna Fail convention in Donegal.
No date has yet been set for the selection convention which will decide who will stand for the party in the next general election.
Nominations closed on Monday.
The Fianna Fail members nominated are Minister Charlie McConalogue, Senator Niall Blaney, Councillor Michael Naughton, Councillor Donal Mandy Kelly, Ben Harkin of Termon Ogra and former TD Pat the Cope Gallagher.
Fianna Fail have also yet to decide a strategy for the election including a decision on how many candidates to run in the constituency.
No details have yet been revealed as to who the Fianna Fail nominees are in the Sligo Leitrim Constituency.
