The Adult Mental Health Unit in Sligo was officially opened this morning.
The purpose built Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit situated on the grounds of Sligo University Hospital opened in October 2020 and serves the counties of Sligo, Leitrim, West Cavan and South Donegal.
It was officially opened by Minister of State for Public Health, Wellbeing & the National Drugs Strategy Frank Feighan.
The state of the art, unit, cost €13.8million includes 25 single ensuite bedrooms a relaxation suite, beauty treatment room, and occupational and outdoor facilities
