According to the latest INMO trolley watch report, Sligo University Hospital has the third highest amount of patients without a bed in the country this morning, with 46.
That’s followed closely by Letterkenny University hospital with one less patient on 45.
There are 522 patients on trolleys nationwide, with the most based in University Hospital Limerick and University Hospital Galway.
The current situation of a lack of beds has been a long standing issue, as hospital staff have previously called for greater supports to be provided.
