Sligo & Ballyshannon included in Heritage Council Funding.

Sligo and Ballyshannon have benefited under the latest round of funding announced by the Heritage Council.

200,000 euro to both Sligo and Ballyshannon under the Historic Towns initiative.

The funding in Sligo will be used for Private owners and the local authority to undertake the heritage led regeneration of O’ Connell Street.

In Ballyshannon the allocation of funding will be used for the local property owners on the mall and Main street to help conserve the historic built environment.
