A Sligo beach has ranked among the best in the Lonely Planet's top ten list.
Streedagh came in 4th with Dog’s Bay/Gurteen Bay, County Galway taking the top spot.
Trá Mór in Dunfanaghy and Ballymastocker Bay, both in Co. Donegal also featured on the list.
Ireland's coastline was described as a 'beachgoers paradise' by Lonely Planey.
