Sligo Cllr says postering will be even more important in next year's local elections

The outgoing Mayor of Sligo says we have to work with the new boundaries.

Fine Gael Cllr Hubert Keaney is now in the new 5 seat area of Sligo Drumcliff.

The former Sligo MD area has been broken up into a 6-seat Sligo Strandhill area and a 5-seat Sligo Drumcliff local electoral area.

Cllr Keaney says the changes will be a challenge for candidates and the public alike in next year's local elections:
