A Sligo County Councillor is calling for safety lighting in Ballygawley.
Cllr Thomas Healy says that since a new pedestrian crossing island was installed in the village there has been a spate of accidents.
He feels the installation of lighing or reflectors may aid this, and raised the matter at this month's meeting of Sligo County Council.
