Sligo Councillor demands answers from Bus Eireannn

Bus Eireann has come under fire yet again over what's been described as a lack of consistency in a local bus service.

This time, the issue centres on the Ballintogher and Collooney bus service in Sligo with claims that the bus had failed to turn up on a number of occasions.

Sligo Sinn Fein Cllr Thomas Healy says he has been contacted by a number of frustrated members of the public who have been effectively left stranded.

Cllr Healy says there should be a focus on encouraging people to use public transport and this latest debacle is doing the opposite:
