Sligo councillor raises concerns over Vodafone service in west Sligo

Vodafone has come under fire over what's been described as an inadequate service in west Sligo.

There have been numerous reports of bad coverage issues in Ballymote, Tubbercurry and surrounding areas.

Sligo County Council is to write to Vodafone in a bid to ascertain what the problem is and if the company plan on rectifying it.

Local Cllr Gerard Mullaney says he has made several attempts to make contact with Vodafone but to no avail and has described the situation as embarrassing:
