Sligo councillor urges that those that needs to avail of help to reach out

People in the North West are being reminded to reach out for help if they need it over the festive season.

Cllr Paul Taylor says while Christmas time is a happy for most, for some it can be a dark and difficult time.

The message comes as a new adult mental health unit officially opened in Sligo last week.

Cllr Taylor says there are a range of supports available both at a local and national level for people to access not just at Christmas but at any time of the year:
