Sligo Councillors maintain Local Property Rate
The Local Property tax is set from a level that reverts back to a baseline each year with Councillors having the option to maintain increase or decrease the rate of LPT.

The decision to maintain the 15% increase is estimated to be worth somewhere in the region of 800,000 to Council which is used to secure matching funding this in turn could be in the region of 8 million euro.
