Sligo County Council has passed it Budget for 2023.
The €73.7m revenue budget was passed unanimously by Councillors today at the County Hall in Riverside.
It's an increase of 3.3m on last year's Budget.
Commerical rates are set to increase by 5% for this coming year.
Fianna Fail Cllr Paul Taylor says it was a difficult decision however a rates incentive scheme brought in by the Council previously will result in businesses being unaffected by the increase if they pay their rates by July:
