Sligo County Council is set to benefit from funding of in the region of €23,000 in the fight against illegal dumping in the county.
The money will go towards the installation of cameras at four dumping hot-spots.
These hot-spots are areas where Sligo County Council have identified illegal dumping to be at its worst.
The funding was drawn down from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment's Anti-Dumping Initiative.
