Sligo County Council to take over public lighting in Ballygawley estate

The public lighting in a Ballygawley housing estate has been brought up to standard and will now be taken over by the local authority.

Works on the lighting in Riocht na Si have been brought up to standard and Sligo County Council will now take charge of maintaining them.

Cathoirleach of Sligo/Drumcliffe Municipal District and Fine Gael Councillor is Thomas Walsh.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Councillor Walsh is hopeful of further developments taking place in the future.
