Three men from County Mayo have been remanded in custody at a special sitting of Sligo District Court this evening charged with aggravated burglary at the home of Tom Niland at Doonflynn, Skreen on January 18th last.
They were 54-year old Francis Harmon, 10 Nephin Court, Killala Road, Ballina; 28-year old John Irving, Shanwar, Foxford; and 33-year old John Clarke, Carrowkelly, Ballina.
All were charged with committing burglary and having a weapon of offence, a knife.
There were no applications for bail at tonight's court sitting in Sligo.

They will appear again at Sligo Court next Wednesday.
Free legal aid was granted to all three accused.
