The new Cathaoirleacht for the Sligo/Drumcliff Municipal District of Sligo County Council has identified the realignment of the N15 to coincide with the development of the eastern bridge on the Garavogue river as one of his main objectives in the year ahead.
Cllr. Tom Fox has also identified further development of community hubs, recreational sites and the agricultural sector as his top priorities.
The AGM of the Sligo/Drumcliff MD took place today in The Council Chamber in Sligo yesterday.
Fine Gael Councillor Tom Fox succeed the outgoing Cathaoirleacht Marie Casserly who has been elected Leas Cathaoirleacht.
