A Sligo farmer has been recognised at the Aurivo Milk Quality Awards.
Michael Joe Dunne from Templeboy received the award for Lowest TBC Manufacturing Milk.
The awards are now in their 14th year and recognises milk suppliers contribution to the sector.
Michael Joe has been a dairy farmer since 1985 working on a ten generation farm.

He says he attributes the award to a good wash routine, hot washing every two days and a new bulk tank installed two years ago.
