Sligo Fire Personnel attend incidents in Enniscrone and Gleneaskey

Fire personnel across the North West are warning of the dangers of Gorse or Mountain fires over the next number of days.

A status orange forest fire warning has been issued for the North West

The advisory - issued by the Department of Agriculture and which is being extended nationwide will be in place until Saturday evening.

Already in Sligo fire crews have attended the scenes of fires in Enniscrone and Gleneaskey.
