Sligo Gardaí arrest a man in connection with theft and fraud offences.
The man travels around rural areas posing as a tradesman offering to carry out works such as painting, power washing and gardening work.
Mainly targeting elderly people, he asks for a deposit using intimidation tactics and then never returns to do the work.
In this case, the arrested man was charged with 6 cases of theft and fraud in counties Sligo, mayo and Roscommon.
