Sligo Gardai to hold open community meetings

Gardai in the Sligo Garda District are holding a number of open community meetings.

The aim is to canvas people's opinions as to what An Garda Siochana should focus their efforts on in 2023.

These meetings will assist Gardai in formulating their policing plans going forward and community feedback is said to be key.

The first of these meetings is getting underway this evening at 6.30pm at the Skreen / Dromard Community Centre.

This is set to cover the areas of Collooney, Ballisodare ,Ballintogher, Ballygawley, Coolaney and Skreen
