Sligo Gardaí investigating after man entered business wielding a knife

Sligo Gardaí are investigating after a man entered a business brandishing a knife and demanded money.

The incident occurred on the Knappagh Road on Friday evening at around 8pm.

Gardaí are particularly interested in a man who left the area on an orange coloured mountain bike.

Anyone who was in the area at and may have seen anything suspicious, is asked to contact Sligo Garda Station.
