Sligo gardai say phone scammers have been busy today so---- beware

Sligo gardai are again warning the public to be on the alert for phone scammers.

They say today has been particularly busy for scam callers, most of them coming from Irish phone numbers, with some from Britain.

Gardai say people who receive such calls should not engage with them and hand up, without giving any information.
