County Sligo has been officially added to the Defective Blocks Remediation Scheme today.
Shortly after 1pm it was agreed within the Dáil that Sligo be included for the supports.

It’s believed that hundreds of homes within the county are affected by the defective concrete, and now signifies the end of a long campaign among local groups.
Sligo now has access to the scheme along with Donegal, Mayo and Clare.
