Sligo has the highest commercial vacancy rate in the Republic of Ireland.
According to the latest report from Geo Directory, Donegal came in third highest while the rate in Leitrim was lower than the national average.
The commercial vacancy rate in Sligo decreased by 0.4 percentage points to 19.6% in Q4 2022.
Of the towns in Sligo surveyed, Sligo Town had the highest commercial rate at 25.4%, while Tubbercurry had the lowest rate at 22.3%.
At 19.6%, Sligo recorded the highest commercial vacancy rate in the state, followed by Galway (17.6%) and Donegal (17.5%)
The west of the country continued to record high commercial vacancy rates, with the rate in Connacht reaching 17.6%, an increase of 0.3% compared to the same period in 2021.
