Sligo has the highest vacancy rate for commercial units in the country.
A new survey by GeoDirectory has found that nationally there are 28-thousand vacant properties.
18 counties saw an increase in the number of empty units in the last year, while just four saw a decrease.
It also shows the number of commercial units empty across the country is rising.
