The emergency department in Sligo University Hospital is fully operational again this afternoon following water leakages as a result of yesterday's heavy rainfall.
The Saolta hospital group has told Ocean FM News the hospital had a number of areas affected, one of which was in ED where part of the waiting area and toilet facilities were closed off until repairs could be completed.
