The Sligo LEADER Partnership Company has a new CEO.
He is John Feerick, a former Independent News and Media executive who previously worked as managing director of INM Regionals-West and as general manger of The Sligo Champion newspaper.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, he says he is joining Sligo LEADER at a time of great challenges but he also says he believes there are opportunities to further develop and enhance services and supports for the Sligo region.

Mr Feerick is also calling on community groups in the Ballinafad, Bunninadden, Castlebaldwin, Gurteen, Killavil and Monasteraden areas to put forward their nominations by Friday October 2nd for a place on the board of the Sligo LEADER Partnership Company.
