A number of community engagement events, led by Sligo LEADER, will be taking place across the county over the next few weeks,
The primary objective of these information evenings is to get feedback from local communities that can be used in the new ‘Local Development Strategy’ for Sligo.
A number of regions will be covered, starting tonight in Dromore West, and including Collooney, Grange, Enniscrone, Riverstown, Ballymote, Gurteen, Tubbercurry, Aclare, Strandhill and Sligo Town throughout the month.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, John Feerick, CEO of Sligo LEADER Partnership Company, outlined the importance of engaging with the various communities.
