The Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue team have appealed to those embarking on walks or climbs in the North West to take adequate care.
With the combination of the Covid-19 restrictions easing and the recent summer like weather conditions, a large number of people have returned to outdoor activities.

Locally the rescue mountain team in Sligo and Leitrim were called out to attend two separate incidents in the Sligo area.
