Sligo Leitrim TD claims Budget will not be enough to help people with disabilities

A Sligo Leitrim TD is warning that the Budget will not go far enough in helping those with a disability.

It comes as a recent study by the ESRI shows that households affected by a disability will be worse off next year, even when one off payments are included.

Speaking to Finance Minister Pascal Donohoe in the Dail as part of statements on the Finance Bill 2022, Independent TD Marian Harkin says that once those payments stop, those affected will be significantly impacted:
