Ahead of the proposed amendments to the Public Health Bill concerning alcohol which will be discussed this evening in the Dail, Sligo Leitrim TD Eamon Scanlon has warned about possible local job losses should the bill be carried.
Deputy Scanlon feels that with small brewers and distilleries creating a number of jobs in Towns like Ballymote and Drumshanbo, everything should be done to ensure that they are offered ever support in order for them to continue to grow.
Something that will not happen according to Deputy Scanlon if this evening's bill is carried.
