Sligo Lifeboat called out to two incidents over the weekend

The Sligo Lifeboat was involved in two call outs over the weekend.

The first incident took place on Saturday evening when a number of swimmers got into difficult close to the outdoor swimming pool in Rosses Point.

The Swimmers eventually made their way back to shore and the lifeboat was stood down.

The second incident occurred yesterday morning when reports were received of a yacht in difficulty in Sligo Bay.

The Yacht in question was escorted by the lifeboat back to Shore and nobody was injured in the incident.
