Police in Vancouver are continue to investigate after the death of a county Sligo man on Thursday night.
The man in his 20s died after the motorcycle he was travelling on was struck by a car on Arbutus Street, just before 9.30pm.
According to Police, despite life-saving efforts by bystanders and paramedics, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital for treatment.

The Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland is providing consular assistance to the man's family.
