Sligo University Hospital is one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country today.

The latest trolley watch report shows that there were 44 people waiting for a bed at the facility this morning.

It's been ranked as third most overcrowded hospital in Ireland.

32 people were waiting at Letterkenny, making the combined North West total 76.

Nationally, there were 488 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
