Hundreds of people across the Northwest have had to make alternative travel plans this morning because of the rail strike.
Fourteen train services between Sligo and Dublin are out of operation because of the row over pay.
Shane Gilmartin is a depot worker at Sligo Railway Station, and he says workers have been left with no choice but to strike

Irish Rail say the pay rise being sought unaffordable - Barry Kenny from the company says they apologise for a lack of services today.
And he says passengers will be refunded.
