Sligo records third coldest temperature in country this morning

Sligo recorded one of the lowest temperatures in the country on Sunday morning.

Minus six-point-six degrees Celsius was recorded by the weather station at Markree Castle.

Finner Camp in Donegal recorded a temperature of minus two-point-seven degrees Celsius, while in North Donegal, Malin Head recorded plus four-point-three degrees Celsius.

Athenry in Galway recorded the lowest temperature in the country reaching minus eight-point-one overnight.
