Sligo-Strandhill European votes to be tallied first

As ballot boxes have been opened in the Sligo Park Hotel this morning, the European votes will be tallied first.

There are 27 candidates vying for 5 seats in the Midlands-North West constituency.

Although the tallying has commenced, it will be some time until any conclusion will be reached.
