Sligo University Hospital among highest in latest trolley figures

Sligo University Hospital was among the most overcrowded facilities in the country today.

According to the latest INMO Trolley Watch report, there were 47 admitted patients waiting for a bed there this morning, making it the third busiest.

SUH was only behind Cork University Hospital on 87, and University Hospital Limerick on 76.

Meanwhile, there were 16 people awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Nationally, there were 527 patients on trolleys earlier today.
