Sligo University hospital has limited visitation at two wards following the outbreak of a vomiting bug.
Medical North and Medical Off Site and Our Lady’s Hospital, Manorhamilton, have both restricted their visiting rules to compassionate grounds only.

SUH released a statement into the illness, and have urged anyone with recent symptoms of diarrhoea and/or vomiting or who has had contact with others who have these symptoms, to not visit patients in the hospital to avoid spreading the virus to sick vulnerable patients.
The visiting measures are to avoid spreading the virus to patients, visitors and staff.
