Sligo University Hospital was one of the most overcrowded hospitals nationwide in the month of June.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has described it as a June like no other in terms of overcrowding.
There were a total of 612 people waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital over the course of the month.
It's a rise of 42% compared with last year's figure of 262.
Nationally, just under 10,000 patients went without a bed in Irish hospitals during the month of June according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Trolley Watch report.
